    When North Star began in 1985, we were pioneers in marketing music through giftstores and bookstores. We'd literally load up a station wagon with LPs and cassettes, and then convince shop owners to take a few on consignment. Our music is now available in many fine gift, book and specialty shops throughout the US and Canada.

    Today, our world-class artists are building national followings. While covering a wider range of genres than at any point in our history.
