Doug James & Sax Gordon
It’s always a party when Doug and Gordon get together! And there’s a lot of history behind their story. Blues guitar hero, Duke Robillard, featured soloist on several of these tracks was the founder of the Grammy winning “Roomful Of Blues”. The baritone sax of Doug “Mr. Low” James was the rock-solid bottom of that horn section for the better part of 20 years, and is now a part of Duke’s latest band. “Sax Gordon” Beadle also an alumnus of “Roomful” and Duke, and between them, they’ve performed with a virtual “Who’s Who” of blues greats.
